Nina Rota is a writer and filmmaker. She created the blog tennisdiary.com in 2004. Her animation Luscious showed at the 18th Street Arts Center, Ottawa International Festival of Animation, LA Freewaves Video Festival, the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, One Archives Gallery and Museum, Reina SofĂa Contemporary Art Museum, the Inside Out Festival in Toronto, and Moveiola short film channel in Canada. Her animation Spineless appeared in NewFest in New York. Her documentary Terminator Seed received awards from the Santa Cruz Environmental Film Festival and Premio Internazionale SASA and traveled to 32 countries and 46 states in the form of a freely available CD. Her documentary Who Needs Hollywood appeared at underground film festivals and gay and lesbian film festivals around the world.
is a contemporary artist whose studio practice includes painting, writing and composing music for film. Born in England, her family moved to Canada and settled in Vancouver. She was awarded a scholarship to pursue art studies at the Emily Carr College of Art & Design. In the early 90's she undertook concentrated painting studies at The Arts Student League in NYC under Catherine Redmond, continued at The Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles and the Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver where she lives and works today.
is a photographer and cinematographer whose recent projects include The Kiss, Dog Spirit series, and The Hand series. The work involves issues of lesbian sex and the "carnivalesque" within an urban setting. Her work with Sorella Productions includes cinematography and still photography for Who Needs Hollywood!, Terminator Seed, Spineless, Otitis Media, and Luscious.
